An Electric Ride
Deuce Ellis spent a year on a remote island with nothing but psychedelics and his creativity. His time among nature, away from modern day distractions like social media, allowed for him to put all of his focus on his 2017 release An Electric Ride.
When he came back to reality he started to put the final touches on his first self-produced album. He collaborated with his mentor Edreys Wajed, his high school friend TK, Grammy nominated Jack Mason and his girlfriend Jenna Clayburn’s design firm TeethRatedR on the album’s art. All in all SOHH notes of the album, “An Electric Ride is a concept album telling the stories of passengers on a funky intergalactic train traveling the cosmos to arrive at the final destination in the Universe’s most exciting city Electric City.”
Since his debut, From Crooklyn With Love, in 2006 Deuce Ellis has always put forth and eclectic sound that proved he wasn’t afraid to take risks. That ability to take risks has led him to play over 300 shows since starting out on 11 tours that have made their way through the United States and Canada. Soon enough he’ll get underway on his Electric Ride Tour.
2 Dope Boyz has called him a “buzzing lyricist,” and that’s the truth.
